Introductory workshop on bioinformatics for high-throughput sequencing
November 25 - 27, 2009
EMBL
Room 202
Meyerhofstrasse 1

TEACHING MATERIAL
Workshop description:
This three-days workshop will give an introduction to concepts, tools, and analysis techniques to work with data from high-throughput sequencing (HTS, i.e., 454, Solexa, SOLiD, etc.). While focusing on data analysis, it is targeted for both wet-lab and computational scientists and aims to give an overview of and an introduction to commonly used analysis techniques. We will have lectures in the morning and hands-on sessions in the afternoon, both with ample time for free discussions in order to keep the workshop rather informal. Participants are encouraged to bring their own data for the hands-on sessions.
Maximum 20 participants. Organized by the Chromatin Plasticity Network. A limited number of places are available for external participants.
Programme:
The workshop will start on Wednesday (25th) at 9:00 am and end on Friday (27th) at 4 pm.
